New York Art Tours

What COVID-19 safety measures are you taking?
Masks are optional. If you're feeling ill, please contact Merrily to rearrange your tour at another time. All tours take place at your own risk.

Where do we meet?
Merrily will confirm a meeting location by email in the week prior to the tour.
How long is the tour?
Most tours are two-hours long. Custom private tours of one and a half hour tours are also available.
Are there good food options nearby?
If you’re bringing a group to Chelsea, please email Merrily for restaurant suggestions.
Are there restrooms?
Both the downtown and chelsea neighborhoods are notoriously short on restrooms. There are public facilities on the High Line at 16th Street, in the Chelsea Market and Chelsea Piers in Chelsea.
Should I bring my children?
Older kids get inspired by great architecture! Generally speaking, architecture tours are great for school-aged kids and teens. You might also consider a private tour, on which Merrily can pitch the conversation to the right age range and we can move at a pace that works for you.
I want to tour again! When should I come back?
Why not try one of my other architecture tours in a different neighborhood? Or if you're into art - my art tours will lead you to the most talked about art of the moment. Galleries change their shows approximately every six weeks. After about a month and a half, the art tour itinerary will be entirely new. See you again soon!
